I swim 100 lengths, sometimes in the same pool, sometimes a different one, but always 100 lengths. I take water from different pools and use it to make the drawings. Swimming for me is a form of meditation, I’m drawn to the repetition, 100 lengths of the pool, up and down, up and down. I imagine I’m in the pool on my own, up, down, up, down. Continuous repetitive movement, medatative and physical. Allowing the mind to calm and think or just drift into a different realm. Moving through the water with only the aim of swimming 100 lengths.

The drawings are my representation of this.
